The Loire valley is very famous by its nice vineyards which comprise 70000 hectares. The Loire Valley grape varieties are white Chenin, Sauvignon and Chardonnay for the production of white French wines as Anjou Blanc, Savennières, Vouvray, Saumur. The Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Grolleau and Gamay are used for the production of red and rosé French wines as Anjou Rouge Vieilles Vignes, Saumur Chapigny, Saint-Nicolas-de- Bourgueil, Chinon, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou and other Anjou wines.
