This is a very nice region visited by the tourists and classified as UNESCO World Heritage, traversing Le centre, Pays de la Loire, department Maine-et-Loire, l'Indre-et- Loire, Le Loiret and Loir-et-Cher.

The Loire is the longest river of France, which is also considered the river of French Kings. The Loire Valley is famous by its marvelous castles : Château royal d'Amboise, Château royal des Blois, Château d'Angers, Château des Duc de Bretagne of Nantes, Château de Saumur, Château de Brissac, Château du Clos- Lucé-Parc Leonardo da Vinci, Château du Chenonceau.

Vineyards and wines of Maine et Loire

The Loire valley is very famous by its nice vineyards which comprise 70000 hectares. The Loire Valley grape varieties are white Chenin, Sauvignon and Chardonnay for the production of white French wines as Anjou Blanc, Savennières, Vouvray, Saumur. The Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Grolleau and Gamay are used for the production of red and rosé French wines as Anjou Rouge Vieilles Vignes, Saumur Chapigny, Saint-Nicolas-de- Bourgueil, Chinon, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou and other Anjou wines.
